Learn to read the time in three steps
The famous Easy-Read method helps children learn time in just 3 steps:
1) Identify which number is at the end of the long/minute hand
2) If the long hand is pointing to the red/pink side of the clock Say ‘minutes to’ OR if it is pointing to the blue/green side of the clock say ‘minutes past’
3) Identify which number is at the end of the short/hour hand
The extra learning step with the alarm is simply to discover how to ‘set’ it to their desired time which will further extend their time-telling skills.
