How does Bird In The Hand wooden game work?
Roll the dice and see if you can find a disk with the same number of dots as shown on the dice. If you find one, turn it over and see if you have collected a bird in your hand. Be careful, some disks have no birds as they have all flown away!?? Whomever has the most ‘birds in the hand’ when there are no more disks in the middle is the winner!?? This fabulous game is great fun while teaching number recognition, counting and basic math skills.
